Why frameless over framed
A framed slider collects soap scum in its tracks and corrodes at the corners. It also visually divides the room. Frameless glass wipes clean in seconds and leaves no tracks to scrub, so your tile stays visible instead of hidden behind metal. It's also become the standard buyers expect in an updated bathroom.
Measured to your tile, not a catalog size
No shower is perfectly square. Walls lean slightly, curbs slope for drainage, and tile adds its own geometry. That's why we measure after tile is finished rather than off the framing, then scribe each panel to the actual opening with the reveals set plumb. Frameless enclosures use ⅜" or ½" tempered glass. Half-inch feels more substantial and allows cleaner hardware, while ⅜" is lighter on the hinges and the budget. Both are safety glass. We recommend based on your panel sizes and hardware choices.
